| Clioent software 1.5.4.1 crashes on WinXP 1 Year, 6 Months ago | Karma: 0 | We are having problems with the latest client software for JAdmin. Until recently, we have been using 1.5.4.0 without any issues. We upgraded to v 1.5.4.1 and, although the website component works perfectly, the client software crashes immediately on loading. The older software version (1.54.4.0) loads fine but now returns a login error, making JAdmin unusable. I am using Windows XP and JAdmin 1.5.4.1 |

Please try temporarily disabling your anti-virus/protection software and see if it starts up then. If so, then you may need to add an exception to your anti-virus/protection software for jlivechat. To Micahel West: The other user who posted on this topic is actually referring to an issue different than yours so you will need to post your issue on it's own thread next time but just to give you a quick diagnosis of the issue you are describing... if you are getting an access denied error than one of the following things may have happened with your setup: 1. You may have recently installed some other extension or made modifications to your website which could be causing a PHP warning or PHP notice to be displayed to the page which could be messing up the JSON output for jadmin... in which case you will need to ensure your php.ini setting for display_errors is set to off. 2. Or you user access key file may have gotten corrupted, therefore you can try downloading a fresh copy of you access key file and then delete all previous websites from the JAdmin desktop app and then add your fresh user access key file. |
